Toure and Senderos worked well together again, much better than if either of them play alongside Campbell. It was the best perfomance I have seen from Reyes ever and Fabregas was outstanding too. Henry and Ljungberg worked tirelessly up front. It was Hleb's best defensive game since joining us and Wenger really did do something magic for the moral to get that performance out of a team that has under performed so badly since Vieira left. Highbury will be the big one, if we can beat Real then anyone is fair game for us, I know Barcelona are currently the number one team but its the psychological boost of beating Real that is important. In my view if you can beat them in their current form you can beat anyone and that says a lot for a team that has several major key players missing from the squad.

I can't wait, its that sort of performance that will make Henry sign a new contract.

As for the Real right back Cicinio or whatever his name is, the cheating ****** should have been yellow carded about 5 times with the dirty dangerous tackles he made on Reyes and the linesmen were shocking with their offside calls when we simply weren't offside I really thought the officials were going to try and get a goal for Real with some of the decisions they were giving, they were so suspect, especially Cicinio not getting sent off.
Doubt Cicinio will be so lucky at Highbury, is it me or has Ronaldo lost it?

Bloody loved it last night. We out classed Real with pace and great passing. Cesc Fabregas is 18 years old and was MOM. he performance was stunning. showed the old boy Zidane how he used to play.

Still a lot of work to do back at highbury. Hopefully Cole/VP and a few others will be fit. It we can get a 1.0 at highbury...

Bloody happy gooner today!

I'd have him at United! Liverpool would love him I'm sure.

The team of 2004 might not of pulled that result off. i think we woul dhave palyed a different style then.

I know what you mean about the result. But it will mean nothing if we lose at Highbury.

I had my doubts but Wengers' boys played awesome! He's always maintained that the CL was his main aim this season and he has come good. Will make up for fielding weak teams for the FA and Carling Cup if we win the CL.

No....but given the number of injuries Arsenal have had this season its not too bad for such a young team. Nobody other than Chelsea were going to win it this season anyway.
