Hand ball

Hand ball
From memory hand ball used to be something which was given when an outfield player made a diving save on the line to stop an otherwise certain goal.
Today its been watered down to a thumped in cross catching someone on the toe and bouncing up at 90 miles an hour to catch the player on his arm.
Whats the ruling? The arm has to be by the side? So now you have to police the penalty box like a bunch of penguins waiting for the cross to come in?
Pathetic!!!

I agree the Man United/Blackburn game last week was a prime example of taking handball too far. Just as youve stated the ball bounced onto a blackburn players arm. Which resulted in a penalty. Pathetic. Im glad we never scored from it.

Agreed, blatent handball. When its watched at full speed you can clearly see him move his arm back to push the ball away. Also agree about Pompeys disgusting tackles, careers could have been ruined.
