Default England 1 Wales 0. Is that the best you can do.

Well , well, after all the hype about how England are going to hammer Wales they only manage to scrape by with a 1-0 win.

Considering the English number over 50 million and the Welsh only 2.9 million I'd say that was a pretty crap result for what is supposed to be a world class team.

Its started already. The drunks are walking home up the alley way by our house. Talking loudly and incoherently in Welsh. The pub will be deserted tonight bar a few Sias sleeping on the toilet floor!

They ought to think up a scheme to make them have to really earn their obscene salaries. Or even much lower ones, no one is worth that kind of money!

They just think they are too important to have to try.

The thing that annoys me is that if it were the other way round (never happen) and Wales qualified and England didn't I would still cheer on the Welsh.

Fair play to Wales for getting away with the 1-0, if we had a half decent manager and assistant manager, and played 4-4-2 and stopped playing Gerrard and Lumplard together we'd be much better off, although it was the best passing performance from Beckham I've seen in a long time for England, maybe he can play central after all, Rooneys game was over the minute Defoe came on, why put your best striker/player out on the right

I was impressed with the way the Welsh fans were getting the atmosphere going before the match, showed real national pride, having spent a couple of weeks in S Wales this year I loved the place and the people, then they go and slaughter the national anthem like that, I was quite shocked at the intensity of it, you went down in my estimation then, it must be a nightmare watching Jones play for England in the Ashes for you, what do you do, boo or cheer, and well done to the England fans for continually singing the natl anthem, I didn't hear the welsh anthem again after the 1st whistle, just remember who paid for your stadium (lottery etc etc) and where the money comes from to keep your country afloat (central government)

Just remember where YOU English have to play your major football matches. In cardiff, thats where. Because you havent even got a decent stadium your selves have you. As for funding who's paying for Wembley then?????

Oh and we do pay taxes to keep our country afloat just as the English do, or didnt this simple fact occur to you.

Take your freedom then see how long you last, I'd give it two weeks especially with the amount of tax you pay

As an England Fan I feel Wales played very well against us...our managers tactics didnt help but all the same the Welsh lads played well, Giggs looked good with some great crosses.

However as an realistic England Fan I know that we have no chance of winning the world cup that is for certain. Why?...its simple.....we cant keep the ball, espicially in midfield. We have great players without a doubt...but they cant keep the ball. Remember when Spain gave us a lesson in football in one of the friendly games...it was like men against boys. One reason why we cant keep the ball is because of the formation that Sven plays....its obvious the players are not playing in their natural positions. If he continues this we have no chance....4-5-1 against wales?????? why? have england ever played a 4-5-1?...I would have played a 4-4-2 or even tried a 3-5-2. Would love to see Sven play a 3-5-2 formation against N.Ireland:

Defense

Ferdinand
Terry (When Fit) or Carragher
A Cole

Midfield

Wright Phillips
Beckham
Lampard
Gerrard
J.Cole

Forwards

Owen
Rooney

What you reckon?

Obviously against better sides we would play with 4 at the back in a 4-4-2 or the dimond formation but against lesser sides our 3 at the back can easily cope. If we would hav played 3-5-2 against Wales i reckon it would have been 2 or 3 nil.

Thats because wales didnt invade your country, kill your monarchy and force you to speak another language. Little details like that can make quite a diference... saying that, i still follow the english team to some amount, because they represent the league that i follow.
