Newcastle - Yeading... Job Done
Looked iffy for a while, at least 4 good chances in the first half, and none of them taken, then a good save from Harper from the free kick.
But 2nd half, did the necessary. Early goal to steady any nerves, then another to kill the game.
All credit to Yeading, they played well, and never gave in.
Don't think much of Boumsong mind. I thought the kid who's scored 20 odd goals this season (can't remember his name at the minute), gave him a rough ride. And if a Ryman League forward can do that, what's a PL forward going to do to him???
Babayaro did ok tho, I think he's going to have to cover Boumsongs mistakes. The pesonnel may change, but the drama will still be the same at the Toon.
Draw for the 4th round is dinner time Monday.
Come on!!!!

Give the new players a bit of time to settle in. Had a look at some of the Rangers supporter forums after we signed Boumsong and they really did rate him.
Time will tell.

only heard the game on the radio due to power cut first half sounded like alot of wasted chances. fair play to yeading they sounded like they played football rather than hacking like some lower league teams would have

Anyway job done by the Toon, new players looked good but agree they need to get up to full match fitness and need to settle in.
Could not believe Robert, a man possessed Tracking back and putting in some good tackles and his crossing was nearly back up to decent standards:d
Still lets see who we get tomorrow

You've certainly got value for money with Babayaro, always rated him at Chelsea good defender and excellent going forward. Not sure why we let him go, true left sided player, which Gallas is certainly not when Mourinho has him in for Bridge
