Looked a bit dodgy in the first half, Given made some great saves and looked back to his best after a bad patch.

The ref was conned into giving them a penalty, they dived about all night.

All in all, could and should have been more, but I'd have taken a draw before the game.

Already qualified for the next phase with a game to go.

And Boro thrashed in Spain, by an average side. Oh dear

they were another buntch on cheats diving around like they'd been shot and the ref fell(no pun inteded)for it every time. as for the penalty got the result anyhow.

We didn't even play all that well either especially 1st half, bad miss by Milner and Selfish miss by Robert at the end, could have been more. Agree we rode our luck slightly in the 1st half but with the comical free kicks and very soft penalty they were wrongly awarded we deserved things working our way (not to mention the way our last 4 games went before Palace )

He made 2 & scored one last UEFA Cup game, scored in the league last week, he's turning into a good Portugese player, doubt he'll fancy playing for us again but don't quite think he's ready yet to play in the PL yet, he never adjusted to the pace like Ronaldo did at Manure, definately will be quality in 4-5 years time

Boro were taught a bitter lesson, we are still top of our group however and should be ok.

We have not won a PL game after a UEFA Cup game yet - need to put that right at Spurs!

Good luck to all the UK teams in Europe - we can slag each other off when we meet, but for now - we are all United
