Cool

May I, on behalf of Middlesbrough Football Club, welcome the England squad to our great ground.

You will note from your training at our premises that this is a club on the verge of greatness ........... may you accomplish what BORO did to Man Utd, Sunderland and the 'once good' Newcastle and give the Slovaks a damn good thrashing!!

The ground where you couldn't sell all the tickets (sooooo many empty seats!), and a ground that inspired England to a turgid display... Keep dreaming Pete!

Just seen the latest betting on the 03/04 EPL Season:

NUFC = 3rd favourites to win the Championship (7/1)

Boro (The "big" Club) = are not 3rd favourites to win at 250/1...

BUT... are 9/1 to go down...

(NUFC are 250/1 to go down if you were wondering Pete )

"about 3:1 on i'd say"

I was unaware you were a Financial Analyst, specialising in Football Clubs. If you were, you'd know we're currently the best performing listed Club in Europe financially...

You need only look at our recent turnover/profit figures, and of course our revenue from TV companies to see why were now listed as one of the top 15 Football Clubs in the World.

Cheers

PS Apart from the obvious, few of the other Clubs are from the UK, and none are from Teesside...

Question

I didn't realise that Newcastle don't have any England Senior Team quality players South-Star!!?? They have slipped further down the road of ruin than I feared!! Oh dear, and here am I taking the pi55 - from the comfort of supporting a team filled with Internationals!!! the BORO!!

I shall have to be careful, the Toons must be feeling REALLY cheesed off at what the future holds for them NOTHING!! A has-been club on the slide!!

They will be in denial, of course, you will probably witness some dying spurts of anger and pleading, saying daft stuff like Europe and stuff - BUT - it MUST be clear that the Has-Been team of the NE is no more .......................... step in BORO!!

God Pete, you amaze me sometimes. Can you walk and chew gum at the same time? I doubt it... Try learning to read:

"How many Newcastle players were on the pitch?"

Note the word, "pitch"...

None played in that shambles on Wednesday, but players in the England squad recently?

Dyer, Woodgate, Jenas. Bowyer has of course played for England in the past, and Sven would have Alan Shearer back like a shot, as recent speculation proved.

Add Ameobi, Ambrose, Chopra and Bramble from the Under 21, and Offiong in the Under 20 England squads, Given and O'Brien for the Republic of Ireland, Hughes as Cpt of N Ireland, Gary Speed Cpt of Wales (and Craig Bellamy a regular too), Viana for Portugal, Dabizas for Greece, Solano for Peru, Acuna for Chile, the 2 Caldwell bros for Scotland along with Kerr, Lua Lua for the DR of Congo (phew) and we're not doing too bad.

I know you love to wind people up Pete, but all you do is give me the opportunity to repeatedly prove how superior NUFC are to Middlesbrough FC (1986) and of course the original Middlesbrough FC who went bust in...

1986

It's great! Keep it coming Pete!

Cheers

Oh, and I forgot to mention Robert, Griffin, Cort and Gavilan who've all represented their countries at various international levels. I think that's most of our First team squad...

Question

Can't quite figure this one out then?? If they weren't on the pitch - they weren't selected - if they weren't selected, they were either banned, injured or not good enough!!

Shearer?? He is HISTORY - Typical response from a HYSTERICAL supporter of a Club living in History!!

Newcastle won EXACTLY the same last season as BORO did!!

Big Clubs play in the Champions League - little ones like Boro don't...

"Newcastle won EXACTLY the same last season as BORO did!!"

Ask Steve Gibson and Lambie to count how much £££ they won last Season, and then check with Freddie to see if it's the same as we won. If it isn't, then maybe you should complain - after all, you say you won "EXACTLY" the same as we did... HOHOHOHOHOHO

Night Pete; keep dreaming.

Like I said - Newcastle WON exacctly the same as BORO last season - true or false?!!

Its TRUE!!!! har har har har!!!!

Getting INTO Europe is no good if you just embarrass yourselves like Newcastle do .............. ok, extra money (and Newcastle NEED money to get some decent players in) ..... BORO would rather concentrate on the Domestic games, like thrashing Newcastle again!!!

Har Har Har Har I can hear the Toon cries now, 'We lost in Europe, so we were tired and sad and BORO thrashed us' BoooHoooBooooHooooo

Newcastle won NOTHING

BORO won NOTHING

Thats THE SAME!!!!!!!!

Question

You mean they ACTUALLY SPENT money to play that cr4p???

Holy Bollocks - what a waste!! I didn't think they had spent ANYTHING - as they played most of the season like Torquay United!!

Oh dear, its sad to see such a 'Has-Been' like Newcastle do so badly even after throwing wads of money at it!! Sad, every sad

Oh well, at least the NE has an up-and-coming team to look too, The BORO!!

As I said before - ask Steve Gibson whether HE thinks a Champions League place is worth nothing...

Boro - never, ever have beens! Boro won nothing ever - oh the North Riding Senior Cup!

Looking forward to Europe Pete? Ibiza? Eurodisney?

And talking of crap - it'd take a Boro or a Liverpool fan to know about playing crap. Boring... Only a half wit would say NUFC play crap!!! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO From the BBC to Sky TV - the experts and pundits rave about the Toon. That's why we're so popular on TV. Everybody's favourite second team!

But them of course I SEE my team play. How about you Pete? Aren't you one of the stay away Boro fans? One of the ones that helped them go bust in 1986??? 3000 gates for 1st team games... Pitiful.

Papas got a brand new Pigbag indeed; he'll need it for all the crap that comes out of the Riverside. Mind, at least they were one hit wonders and got to the No1 spot - somthing Boro will never do!

"Up and coming team"? Well, they've got a long way to come from the bottom half of the EPL!

Take care Pete

Throughout the 60's and early 70's I went to most home games - but then had to follow the employment and came down south. Do watch them when I am visiting my roots - if you can get tickets, as the best team in the NE its getting VERY hard to get in these days!

We both won ABSOLUTELY NOTHING last year!!

May I wish Newcastle all the best for next season - except the games against the BORO of course!!

Good luck!!

"if you can get tickets"

Pete, WE'RE the Club that sells out ALL our Home games. It really is very easy to get tickets for Boro matches.

Thanks for the best wishes anyway.

Take care

From The Mail On Sunday;

...Nemeth was in hot water last week when he reportedly complained that Middlesborough had too many factories, no decent restaurants and too many ugly women.

It's funny because it's true!

Maybe, maybe not - BUT - when players come from other clubs like Villa they tend to raise their game as they are playing for a bigger club, see?? makes sense!!
