Blades. V. Wolves

I`ve got a bad feeling about today ( hope i`m wrong )
Semi-final of the Worthington cup,
Semi-final of the F.A. cup,
Finished third in the league,
Got a feeling we`re gonna miss out on everything.
I`m not a great lover of the play-offs,it should be three up three down, that`s why you play 46 games in a season.
I know quite a few Wolves fans so good luck for today, but
COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WHIZZAAAAAAAARDS.

I think lots of fans get the jitters when their teams get as near as we are. Wolves have a track record of getting within a sniff of promotion then blowing it but hopefully this is our year, fingers crossed.

Well done Wolves you deserved it on the day but my arguement is have you honestly deserved it through a full season.
Play-offs are just a money making scheme.
If they do want play-offs why don`t the third from bottam in the Premiership play who ever finishes third in the first. It just makes a mockery of the whole league system.
And before anybody says anything it`s definatly NOT sour grapes.
Eddie,
BLADE TILL I DIE.

That's the way it used to be in the old First Division. I always feel for the team that finishes 3rd and loses out.
Tough luck.

I just feel very sorry for my girls who were down there.
If you finish 4th it`s your own fault for not picking points up through the season but to play virtually 12 months and finish higher in the league than the team that ends up going up isn`t right.
Don`t get me wrong Wolves deserved it we just didn`t get going and were rightfully punished, both financially and probably team wise,IE:Brown will go along with a few more.
I can`t see the sense in playing your heart out for 46 games when the last three are all that matters.

We would have gone up last year if that was the case ...

I agree with theplayoffs being very ****e indeed. Yes the Wolves should have been promoted last season and not the blues. This season is going to be even worse, its ridicoulous that you will be able to finish 8th, almost midway in the table and still make it to the prem! It is very feasable that the team in 8th will be closer to the relegation zone (in points) than the automatic promotion spots! If we finish 8th next season and make it bak up i will not complain, but i wouldn't think we deserved it.

Congratulations to Wovles, the playoff system may not be 100% fair but would you complain if your team went up?
