After all your protests he's just been called up into the squad, one of our many donkeys is obviously injured. He's earned it, played really well this season, I think he could be a target for a few clubs this summer, do u think he will stay?

If he continues to work as hard as he does in the Villa matches then I am sure he will earn a more permanent position in the England side.

Well, we shall see what all the Villa supporters have been ranting about then? Doubt whether he will oust Rooney but I remain open-minded!!

I haven't been keeping up to date with things recently. Been too busy with my own footie stuff/refereeing.

I presume that someone has been looking kindly upon Villa and kept Barry with us? If so, what's his England squad number, I am going to treat myself to an England shirt with his number and name.

He was dropped to the Under-21s again last night. That was a dismal performance by all accounts, but did result in a 2-0 win.

I am feeling a tad better thanks, been to physio and I am now out with shin splints....bit of a bummer, but hey, what can you do? (Apart from not get them in the first place ) How are you?

Ratman, that's sad news. We Villans have high hopes for him. I dearly hope he does get more chances. When he does I want to know his squad number.
