Villa playing well though. Dominating midfield at mo. We are playing ****. Lucky we got the early goal....

 

Yep, Villa sure did show some venom, unfortunately not enough.

Looked a good game though.

FoxTel were showing the rugby beforehand which played late, so the match was "hurried" rather than the full game which I expected.

 

Started off really high tempo so thought we were in for a good game to watch. Pity it went downhill.

Ah well cant complain with the **** getting beat 2-0

 

From what i heard Villa were unlucky to lose.

 

I wouldn`t call missing all your shots unlucky...we gave utd a good game until half way thro the 2nd half when we seemed to get tired...Gareth Barry was outstanding!

 

 

It was frustrating to see the shots going wide or the excellent saves from Barthez.

Hadji was in good form both in attack AND defence!!! Gareth Barry, well, what can I say, he's the rock of the Villa team.

 

If Villa could shoot it would have been a cricket score.

 

The commentary over here was that if Villa played rugby they would be leaps and bounds ahead of United. Which admittedly I did laugh at, because every other shot was over the bar.
