Great match, great result. Puts us into 3rd spot, but realistically we're a top 6 side.

Certainly made up for throwing the Spurs game away the other week. We should have easily beaten Spurs but played 3-5-2. Like I said, this makes up for it.

Schmeichael is a top bloke too. He had a good laugh and joke with us, while Villa were loosing 2-0, and if he hadn't been in goal it would've been 6-0!

Thats ok - it makes up for Villa beating us in the cup-tie last year when Vassell scored one off his knee!

Heheh!

Didn't realise you were a Villa fan 'Chelle. Just be glad Dyers not back yet, or even the Great Dane wouldn't have been able to stop a rout!!!

>>What do you think of Bellamy Daz????

Was skeptical when I heard we'd bought him, then we got a load of abuse off the Coventry fans for paying so much for him.

But thats changed now hasn't it ?

Put him in a good side who can deliver the ball over the last man's shoulder and he's off - nobody can catch him.

Needs to work on his finishing though - at present he's only putting away 1 in 4 chances, but hey, if we're making 8 chances a game for him, thats 2 goals per game at least.

Shearer is starting to reach full fitness now - did you see his goal against Villa ?

Then we've got Carl Cort and Kieron Dyer to come back in December.

Looking rosy for the mags. Oh, and watch out for an up and coming striker who's currently playing in the reserves - called Michael Chopra. England material.

Cool

I'm a NUFC fan. So also look out for Chopras' jnr stike partner Richard Offiong, good to see the youth policy working at last!

Cant believe Dyers not back till Dec now. 1st it was Sep then Oct then Nov and now Dec!!!!

Bellamy seems OK, he's scoring goals and you cant fault him for that, but when the chances dry up a bit will he convert enough????

PS: Laurant Robert, best player in the world?????
