Not too sure myself - some people are passionate about 'their' team - in my case, for my sins, its Middlesbro F.C.!! enough said!

I would love a forum, but, we have seen what happens when some members act like they are a group of mates down the pub winding each other up and questioning their parentage!! I myself am more than guilty of this - I have absolutely NO problems at all entering a slanging match and I can take whats dished out to me and I dish it out as you all know!

So? would it work? depends. If certain moderators dont quite 'Get-it' then threads will be locked and tempers raised and it would disrupt the BBS. I can write on here as though I am in a bar with another set of supporters, I am no different in real life - I am built like a brick **** house and dont need to be any different .. but some just dont see it that way.

And i am sure it would be a lot of fun but if people can put up with the slaggings it would be fine.

I will never lock a thread, I will however edit any abusive posts from a thread. If anyone has a point to put accross as long as it is not racist,threatning,abusive,offensive or libelous in any way I will leave it.

At the end of the day we are all adults so I don't see any reason why it would not work.

Nice to know you would never lock a thread - that is such a breath of fresh air - as you know SOME moderators WOULD lock a thread, never seen anything good come of locking threads as it just fires off a million copycat threads.

Deleting a thread that is CLEARLY out of hand and in really bad taste deserves to be deleted - but it should be at the agreement of a majority of Moderators ................ not just the power crazed (you KNOW who you are!!)

As long as Sammyh DOESNT go on about Newport F.C. we should all be able to contain our laughter!

Keep it then - gets my vote

This forum was/is intended as temporary and was stated as such in one of the first posts if i remember rightly, if it had been posted in the non scooby forum I agree it may given all users of the BBS the choice to decide and possibly give it the thumbs down, by posting in this forum I expected a good response as the Forum has seen a lot of activity especially by those of us who endulge in Football related posts in the non scooby forum and I just thought it would be nice to continue the banter as more new faces had appeared and were getting involved, it wouldnt stop myself or the others visiting the other forums any less, Im sure im not the only one who has their favourite forums they always visit, anyway im just waffeling, probably because im passionate about my sport as well as my scooby and it means i can combine the both and anyways if we'd had no replies or all negative ones we would have seen the general consensus amongst our own, so to speak

I apologise for the over use of waffle and I swear I havent been drinking or watching Ronaldo (16/1 top scorer i thank you )score a goal for Brazil in the pub. and the scoob has been serviced so everything is rosy in the garden and I take no responsibility for any spelling misrtakes
