for the Scots to go Brazillian they'd have to:

1) get a sense of humour and learn how to smile
2) open their wallets more than once a year
3) men grow taller by at least 1 and 1/2 feet
4) women have very extensive plastic surgery, (but there is not a procedure known to medical science capable of turning a typical hatchet-faced Jock wee lass into an amazonian beauty)
5) get a real parliament not a mock vanity affair
6) get some decent weather, the Gulf Stream just doesn't cut it I m afraid
