thought i would intruduce myself
hello all,
just become the proud owner of a 01 wrx in silver with currently just a green cotton airfilter, prodrive backbox and decat for mods.
so far im smitten with the impreza and it feels like the car ive always wanted.
i might be new to the impreza world but not to turbo jap cars as my last car was a mr2 turbo with plenty of bolt on mods,uprated intercooler,tein coilovers etc.
i thought it would be really hard to sell the mr2 and that i would miss it but to be honist the wrx is so nice to drive im not missing it that much.
oh and that exhaust note is just awesome....
the plans for the car will be...
a damn good service(1st and foremost)
anti-lift kit
suspension upgrade..undecided if im going down the coilover route yet.
prothane bush kit
braided brake lines
im leaving the engine alone for now
just going to get the handling up to spec and enjoy driving it.
and the final deal maker was that on my first morning of owning the car i got a wave from a another scoob owner!!!a kind of welcome on board gesture.it put a big smile on my face..
wasnt sure if scooby drivers waved at each other like mr2 drivers.guess they do!
oh yeah im in the bracknell area...think theres a few scooby owners around here

Get some pics up of ur car dude, I always see a classic silver WRX in the Bracknell area..
