Default 2002 (52) BUGEYE WRX

Hi all,

Thought id introduce myself here as i couldnt see a newbie section, or am i just being thick??? I live in southampton and have just bought this 2002 bugeye. It is cat-d and has no history... that said it has reciepts for over £3500 from the scooby clinic in sheffield

This includes £2000 spent in sep 2007 this included

VF 34 Turbo (£775)
Remap (£550)

In March 2008 the owner who i bought it off spent £800 on

Cat Back system (£495) - what make would this be?

It has an adjustable dump valve & induction kit fitted in the side panel, again not sure what make these are.

I have rolling road read outs of 317bhp

as you can see from the pics its mint!

Ben

looks like a stunner you have there at that price, the ecutek remap and the exterior mods are worth 2k plus alone

you can get tailored matts for your car mate from ebay or anywhere, i.e choose what colour, sti or wrx etc.

Sti bonnet scoops...id leave urs on mate, looks stealthier

Sti interior, not sure how much but theres a few on ebay

iirc the door electrics panels are different enough for your window switch panels not to fit.

Expect to pay no more than about £450 for a ful STi inetrior.

i was driving home tonight and thought id give it some beans and no sooner had i hit 5,000rpm the engine managment light came on. The car still pulls ok, just a bit worried im going to do some damage if i keep driving with it on?

is there anywhere in southampton or surrounding area i can take it to sort out? there is subaru garage in botley but id rather take it to a 'specalist' as iv had my pants pulled down when i had my P1

any help much appreciated

been thinking, my car already has a DV but it only makes a flutter/sssshh sound when i give it some beans. i had a blitz DV on my P1 which sounded awesome IMO - if i were to get another BOV would it need to be remapped again or would i be ok?
