As I have suggested on the 'Who's going to Halfay House meet' thread , as the next meet falls on Valetines day (I will be skinned if I go , and sure alot of others are in the same boat 
) How about post-poning it for the 3rd Thursday next month , the 21st February .............. Any ideas ??

A bar next to a bowling alley .... HHHMMMMMMMMMM !!!!! wonder where that is , may be an idea though Chuck , what with all the different restaurants in that complex , a change from chicken curry ........... But we would all have to park in our own Elite little spot

On;y mentioned it as date changed, after Feb we'll go back to the halfway house since SIDC promotes that..but Nando's, Chillis, TGI's...we should be able to find something eh? Plus Steve, Disco and I can go check out Jumping Jacks - slightly different clientel than 1/2way house LOL

Theres a whoppingly good chinese there, next to the cinema!.
£12.00 a head though..(double that of my Lasagne @ Halfway!!!), but worth it, it's a buffet style, but the choice is immense as mentioned, otherwise there's also a Frankie and Bennys.
A good idea to move the date, frankly trying to drive any car after Castration, I think would be impossible.....
might be worth getting some idea of numbers, the last few meets have been 12 - 15 people eating.... + those arriving for a general car / life chat!. Basically, I think it might be a good idea to book summat!.
A nice candel lit dinner for yo, me Kev, Rob, Grae, Robert, Kate, Chuck, Knowelsy, Phil, Scott, Pete, Stuart,Toby, Ed....come on Disco, you know you want to...

Only we finaly remembered how to get to HH (yes across the Dartford Bridge ).....and you change the venue? That's OK, we like getting lost

The third Thursday would be a whole lot better for me too. It'll give me time to practice throwing a bowling ball at a reasonable speed and avoid any run-in the the local plod.

Forgot .......... Kate and Robert , if you wanted to meet up with RobMo and I , we shall (probably) be at the Pizza Hut on the A127 at 6.15 again , and Festival Leisure Park is only round the corner , just an idea so you don't get lost .

Just wondered if any of the faces i see at the last meet are going to this cruise from london to brighton on the 27th.

well, when I am better...i.e. stopped dying...I might have a go, due to popular demand like.
so on that note, keep posting here if you wanna come out, think italian is safe, so Frankie and Bennys if they take bookings, couple of frames to bowl....see what I can do about getting some disco dancing diva's in delightfully dangerous (yet demure) designer dresses to do the dirty do's that chuck and co. might admire and appreciate while soberly ( Mr Manning excused due to extention occupation ) strutting their stuff in Jacks. summarised, I'll see if any of the old basildon single muvva's club wanna entertain some wicked car owners for an evening....best car pulls best birds...Chuck...don't bring the bug, not saying you need all the help you can get but......
