There is a bookatrack track day at bentwaters airstrip just north of Ipswich.
I've spoke to the people organising the event and they've said it's ok to meet and spectate there.
So whos interested then ????
Anyone interested in driving at the event see there web site.

maybe be slow coz of three reasons
1. you drive a p1 outdrives and handles any uk turbo
2.didnt know any of the roads you were driving on
3.cant afford the insurance when i would have stoved you up the ****

I go there quite a lot .... have driven Bookatrack's Caterham there ... it's huge fun .... they're doing lots of improvements to the track there as well .... I thoroughly recommend it.
If I get the chance I'll join you there

Spudgun -- I didn't know you were from Colchester. How long have you had the Skyline? ISTR seeing a white Skyline and an Evo6 pootling along together (somewhat faster than I could manage) in the Marks Tey/Coggeshall area in the summer.

if it was a reihms blue evo6 and a white skyline, then that was me and my girlfriend
she had the evo, i was in the skyline. the skyline was standard then....not anymore
you will know its me from now on coz i have a 'spudgun' sticker in my rear window...just to let you know who's flew past

Speedgun on the day I can meet you at tesco A12/A14 jcn and you can follow me up to bentwaters, more the merrier.
Any other essex folk wanna meet? A good chance for the essex and norfolk lot to meet in the middle!

Gary -- if it was a weekday I'd come and spectate. I've done Bentwaters twice now, but the thought of doing the A120/A12 run on six days a week doesn't appeal. Pity about the goings-on at Oakington (doesn't look like BaT will be able to run any trackdays there any more 
)

Rebecca -- it's all on the bookatrack forum. Basically the council have decided that only four trackdays can be run each year at Oakington, and then only on weekdays. It think BaT have given up on it. There was also a rumour that they were going to build a housing estate on it. A pity, as it's quite a convenient place for a trackday for me
