Are there ever any Essex meets ???

Loads of Scobbies in and around the Essex area, however are there any meets. (I don't mean Southend Sea front on a Saturday evening either !!) Is it just the wrong time of year or is it just lack of interest?

Let me know when there are Essex meets, as I am 15 mins away from the Halfway House on A127 (I live in Upminster). It would be right to say that I don't yet have my Impreza, but a few weeks is all it's going to take.

Hello !!! New to this site & just wondering what the score is with the Halfway House meet ? Been past there & seen many a scoob in there from time to time , even made it to the carpark & checked for signs of life , sadly there was none & eventually bottled it rather than wandering in . Would like to venture there this year & I know of a couple of other Scooby Owners who would aswell.Cheers

Don't bottle it ........... I think I speak for everyone on this BBS ...... We are all a very approachable bunch , we are usually gathered in the back corner of the Halfway House (a varied mix of ages) , talking Scoobs!!!

Don't think I'll get to Danbury, but the Halfway House is still on, just need to clean the car first as I don't wish to embarress myself at my first meet!!

What sort of time do you usually all meet up at the Halfway, im thinking of coming on the 10th but it will be my 1st time (BABY)
I obviously dont want to get there at a very early sad time also dont want to get there at a very fashionable late time either.

Don't know from where in Essex you are from , BUT .. Rob Mo , Phil_stephens , Kev and I meet at the Pizza Hut in Basildon on A127 at 6.15pm for a little jaunt down to HH for a bite to eat ...... You are more than welcome to join us , last month was Phil_stephens first meet , and I think he survived the initiation !! (only joking)

Just also to let you know though ....... that we will be there at about 6.30 ........ So don't worry about just turning up and being too early , we'll probably be ordering grub (lasagne for RobMo as usual).
