Thanks again to Grahame and Richard (Lords of the Ring ??) for organising a great afternoon. Even the weather was excellent.
A good turn out with some spectacular machinery !!!
Here's to the next one/meet/whatever. :

Well done yet again Richard & Grahame for the organisation & to all those who made the effort to turn up.
The weather was good & obstacles (cyclists & horses) not too prolific for a fine Sunday afternoon.
Dave T-S even agreed not to give me a kicking for persistent cheekiness on the BBS. Clearly still thinking more about his in-car bondage equipment than the need for retribution
See you all soon.
Hugh

Thanks for a great day out folks - sorry we didn't meet up on the half way ring (decided to cut it short & head home). Good turn out & some nice motors.

Thanks guys - both for the kind words and most of all for turning up - these things are a bit of a damp squib if no-one comes along
Great to see the familiar brigade, plus quite a few faces new to the Ring or our Cambridge meets. Cem - shame you couldn't have stayed longer, would have liked to catch up mate! Niiiiice motor
It was great fun with those kids at Barrington too - definitely made their day, sitting in some serious machinery. Apart from one of them asking if Dave T-S had put his car in Max Power
And well done Stan for doing the Ring, but in the wrong order and meeting us at the start point an hour late
Another thanks too for people driving sensibly. It was great to see there were no incidents or dramas - something we should expect but doesn't always happen. Unfortunately there was one piece of terrible driving today but it was by some muppet in a Corsa, who tried to overtake a kid cyclist on the inside of a 90 degree blind bend and caused a motorbike to do an emergency stop coming the other way As usual, the performance car drivers were the safer ones
Anyhow, nice meeting everyone... until the next one...
Cheers
Richard

You are a Muppet mate
Apparently Ian Cook was collecting phone numbers in anticipation of when his new girlie groupies reach the age of consent - in about four years
Ian - Arab Strap - i'll send you a diagram

I'll post some pics up when I get round to reducing them in size.
Oh and my car is meant to fire each cylinder separately on start up, honest!!!

Another great Cambridge event!! Thanks to all for travelling from far and wide to attend our lttle ol' meet. Cheers Richard for putting the time in copying the route instructions - I expect your "free" time is pretty precious now that you're working for Eddy J.
Lee - I hope my Sport wasn't too slow for the second half of the Ring!
Maybe when we run the Ring again we should do it anti-clockwise - that will really confuse Stan!!
Grahame

Jim,
Dave clearly didn't explain to you then that the loan now stands at rather more than £20. You don't think that he makes sufficient from gainful employment to fund all his contributions to the Pete Croney Retirement Fund do you??

Your worries are misplaced Grahame. I was very impressed with your Sport.
Mind you, after a spin in those Scoobs it was nice to drive home in something fast (Extremely only joking guys)

Big thanks To Richard (again )
Great day out very nice people and very well behaved.
Dave you will have to learn not to lift off quiet so quickly after leaving a junction as the nutter behind you was going for the same gap and didn't want to pi55 off the bloke behind.
Next time will hope to bring a co-pilot to read the map so you will have the chance to hear what your car sounds like from behind, great by the way !!
See some of you at Donno on Saturday.
Gaz

Get it right guys - I did the Barrington to FD (warm-up run) anticlockwise (the ring route is CLOCKWISE isn't it ????)
Anyway - with MYYYY reputation - there's no way I would follow the "Ring" route (even with a map), especially backwards and with no codriver
Great afternoon - great company !
Stan
