I'm interested providing the car doesn't take too much of a beating at Goodwood on the 28th! Should be OK - have been there 3 times last year so know the track.

scooby-tc,

Didn't realise you were also from portsmouth, I was at Goodwood on Thursday, in the Williams. What group were you in, my group? Group c? If that was you (silver impreza) , I seem to remember you driving well or rather having quicker lap times than most. Was it down to the driving or do you have upgrades etc.

I held my own for a few laps against the V8 Esprit towards the end of the day with twice as much power as me. It was my second track-day, so I was quite pleased about that,

Is the meeting just for imprezas? Maybe I'll pop up and check things out (as soon as I replace the sheared downpipe -

cheers

Cool

Scooby tc

It's a general meeting - there will be loads there to see from Cossies, Scoobs, GT40's - there may even be some bikes - it's a private hire day - not Easytrack. Am sure it will be well worth a look on the day - especially as it's a Saturday We'll be there in the white STIiv - come over & say hello.

Hi guys,

Count me in, I'll be there! Hopefully I'll have my new bumper (courtesey of Blow Dog) painted and put on by this meeting. I'll try and not get done for speeding this time though. Got three points and a £60 fine from doing 60 in a 40 past Cams Hall last meeting :-(

Won't keep me away though.

Phil what year and model is your Impreza. I'm after the same interior as yours and need to know which model to tell the breakers.

Ta,

Karlos

Unhappy

I'm up for it if not going to the NEC for the Sportscar thing.
It pains me to say it but it might be one of the Scoobs last outings as a Scenic/ Picasso beckons (more kids on the way than expected..)
Karlos save buying a new interior for yours buy my Scoob with one fitted already, no need to get your hands dirty and no more getting mistaken for the old bill!
Anyway see you in a couple of weeks

Nooooooooo!

WAL! You can't lose the scooby m8! Well, at least not for a bloody Picasso? Can't tell which ends the front and back on those bloody things... Yuk! Get a Forrester or a Legacy Outback instead! :-)

I like the nice "STi" sitching on Phil's seats which yours ain't got.

Scooby-tc! Not got rid of it yet mate! My quest continues.....!

Phil, I was up at Scoobysport yesterday to get my oil leak and exhaust rattle fixed (the latter of which they couldn't do as they didn't have the parts! <sob> )
Didn't get a back box though...maybe next month..... There was an STi up there with one on, and yes, they do sound sweeeeeet! Where'd you hear I'd got one? My exhaust ain't blowing is it!?! :-) Thanks for the info, I'll let you know if I'm successful in my hunt!

Cheers guys!

I was at Goodwood that day I think (although they all blur into one) - Silver MY98, in fact there were 3 Silver Impreza's there I believe.

I will try and come along to the churchilian meet.

Tried both the Forester and Legacy and can't get 3 baby seats in..nightmare or else I'd get a GT twin turbo death machine and not some crap MPV rubbish. I could get my needle and thread and sew STI into the seats for you!!
See you

Daren,

Any ideas on time on Sunday. I'm gonna have a busy day at work but may be able to pop along for half an hour or so before midday.

Plus I need to give you your manual back !! Tried to find you house yesterday but no luck. I couldn't remember what the street was that you said you lived in. Oh well, hopefully see you on Sunday. My missues says the Gold wheels looked good when she saw you the other week.

:-(

Won't have my bumper done before the meeting....

Wife wants new double glazing. (Why do they always use manky wooden frames for double glazing in new houses!)

Upside is though I've been given the approval for an STi 5 spoiler, so not only will I have a new bumper but an ironing board too! Have gotta do somthing about those bloody wheels and interior mind!

Nice try Warren, but I've got me' heart set on those seats in Phil's car with the nice red trim. Sorry!

Karlos

PS - Bet mine'll be the cleanest again this meeting, even if it is the crappest! :-)

I feel a bit of an idiot actually, considering I suggested the date. Agggghhhhh. I should be able to get there for at least half an hour. I'll be up there from midday (hopefully) and you can all come and laugh at my bog standard WRX.

Later

Pray tell young Kevin, why would we want to do that then ? now if it is a MY01 WRX, there may be the odd snigger, but I doubt there would even be that, a Scooby is a Scooby in my book, there's just different flavours that's all!!!!

Daren,

No probs with the Manual mate.

Guy's don't take me too seriously, I have a wierd sense of humour. & it's a MY94 (just in case you where interested). It's the silver one that waves at everyone else. I see about 4 or 5 other impreza's every week so some of you may already know me (or the car)
