SE convoy to Surrey Meet

Hi guys,
I guess it's time to start arranging this.
How's this for a preliminary plan! The racecourse meet time is 1.00pm. I imagine it'll take approx 2 hrs from Thanet. So if we aim to be there at 12.45 then we ought to really be fuelled up and ready to leave Thanet at 10.45am latest.
I propose to meet up at the Broadway Esso station, Russp and R1NTR and whoever else we may get along to this (football woossies -which accounts for 2 of them- withstanding) at 10.30am.
The Thanet group leave planet fanet at approx 10.45am to meet the Canterbury crew for approx 11.00-11.10am at the end of the A2 where the A2 joins the M2 (Brinley corner) so ideally on the hard shoulder of the M2 or slowly trundling along the M2 slow lane. There should be a couple of cars from Canterbury which I'll confirm later, (P1 Media, Tony Murray)and any others who wish to come along...
we'll then go down the M2 to the A249 taking us down Detling Hill onto the M20 where we'll catch up with anyone from Ashford/Maidstone (Oaksey + whoever else) and then down the M20/M26/M25 to jct 10 where we'll take the A3 London to Esher.
How does this sound, anyone who wants to join the convoy please put a post up here saying which of these rendezvous points you'd like to meet up at. I'll then get mobile no's of you so when can co-ordinate better on the day. We can also have another rendezvous at Clackett Lane if there's demand.

Hey Hey Pasta Boy....
You're not going to believe this, I'm like in Tadley this weekend again, which is 20 mins away from the Quays. Such is my lot. Anyway, I'll ring you, because as usual I have no idea where I'm going, I'm definately up for it, but I need sort how and what I going to do.

Nito, I'll meet you at the St Nicholas Roundabout 10.40 ish.
Would the best bet at Brindley corner be to meet on the little country lane on the roundabout. That's where the road workers always leave their motors.... easy enough to stop.
Not sure we'll meet the Canterbury posse otherwise if we try to meet up on the slow lane! Up to you tho, you're the daddy!

I meant to e-mail you today about going via Pegwell but I'm still trying to get through to two more owners in Canterbury before deciding which route! I'll keep you informed though

I think we'll be to the M25 about 12.00-12.15ish, if you drop me a mail with your mobile no. we can liase better while we're en-route or even pull into Clackett lane.

Ok...Tony M is meeting us there, so Russ it's up to you which route you want to take to meet up with Greg. If you prefer going via pegwell then we'll go that way and then down the M20, might be quicker.

Okay,
Plan is me and Russ leaving Pegwell at 10.45am and then meeting greg and any dover/canterbury owners who wish to come along at the McDonalds just outside Dover at the top of the ferry terminal hill at 11.15ish.

The meet was today at Surrey, see the post by Andy Tang in this forum.
The next surrey meet will be on sunday 13th May so you can plan ahead and there is also a canterbury meet in the wings before this on 29th April. Keep you eyes peeled on this Southern forum for more!
