South West meet 3rd December

The next SW meet has been organised for the 3rd December at the regular venue of the Star Inn on the A370 nr Congresbury (between Brisrol and WSM)
Usual plan - 12 noon for those eating or 1pm for those wanting to kick some tyres or look into Bobs back box(it is big !)

Will be there hopafully for scran with megan so no blasts down the ashton bypass after.

Ron and all,
Looks like we will have to postpone the famous Exmoor run again due to lack of support, Shame.
Hopefully after the SW meet we can post again with a revised date - Early Jan? Weather permitting.

It must have been the drugs kicking in

The last time I went in Bob's car it was , how shall I put this ......... um disappointing , I want to see how it goes with the Link in it . Also I seem to have a need for speed after watching the rally last week .

Guys,
Nissan Micra 1 Scooby Nil, oh dear.
She lies in the garage all bent and twisted. Exhaust bent, floor bent panels damaged everywhere. Whole new back end.
Will be there Sunday but don't know what we'll be driving. (so no laughing) Probably a Justy.
Know any good body shops?

be very carefull about who your insurers' appoint to cary out the repairs to your car.
I had a very similar set of circumstances in July of this year and only got scooby back from the "approved repairers" in Bristol 2 weeks ago! a big, well known but ultimatly inept company.
If you want more details, e-mail me off scoobynet and i will let you know the pitfalls you may be able to avoid.

Nick, The Star inn may not be a sophisticated establishment, but Paul and Traceys kids seemed to like it !

Sorry guys and gals.
Been laid up for two days with some bug that megan caught then my missus and then of course me. Its been a tough week with no sleep. Violins can be heard in the background but oh for the joys of parenthood.
