Would be interested in coming along - only about an hour from Guildford. Can you confirm the date (and where is Newlands Corner?). Might be able to get a few other 'locals' interested as well.
Cheers

The best day looks like Sun 3rd.
From Guildford town Centre goto the little roundabout at the top of town take a right up past the pizza shop, follow that road about a mile or so till you get to another roundabout then straight across when you get to the lights take a right and then its a the top of the hill on the right.
time tbc. prob 2/3pm onwards.
Email me if any problems with directions etc.

It's also easy to direct people from the Bell & Colvill garage. head up the main road (A246) in the direction of Guildford. At the first set of lights turn left (A25). At the very top of the hill there's a carpark on the right and that's it. If you start going down the hill you've gone too far.

Head to Farnham, along hogs back to Guildford, then thorugh the town as above.
There is a nice refreshments place at Newlands, well, it did when we were mountain biking through there before! Top trails too.

The Wotten Hatch (I think that's the right spelling). Easy to find as you just continue on the road down from Newlands Corner (or approach from the town centre).
Good pub, good food and a large car park.
