Dorset Rolling Road Day...
Hello all,
Been meaning to do this for a while, think there's only a few on here that remember the last one at Eclipse in Poole all those years back
Given there's no decent RR's in Dorset, im proposing to organise a Rolling Road day at WRC Technologies (nr Silverstone) which isnt far, and a good run out. Only other option is PE, but a bit further. WRC appear to have a brand new RR, and looks like a good one.
Ron - might need a hand as you know more peeps than I do Can also include Hants people if numbers allow.
I havent contacted WRC as yet but id like to gauge some interest. Would likely to be a Saturday and maybe in about 3-4 weeks time on a Saturday. (allows me time to stuff in some more ponies )
Add your name if you're interested and ill get some idea on price.
Any Q's let me know.
********* Sat 23rd April **************

Sure.. I will tag along. Providing it's not as f ucking cold as the last one I went to. I spent the day wrapped in a blanket but still rolled home in a respectable 3rd place out of the group
I would be interested to see if and what I have lost over the period of 12 months.
Count me in (although I am souling it 4-7 March up North)

Right,
Got the details
Im proposing either Sat 23rd April as thats the first slot they have.
We need a minimum of 12 cars to do it, but they can take up to 40 cars in one day - starting at 9am and ending at 5pm
Boost and AFR are monitored which is a useful diagnostic as well as checking the health while on the rollers. The dyno cell has 10 cooling fans including extraction, so the intercooler will be kept happy.
Each car will have 3-4 runs to verify the data, and a full print out will be given.
Prices as follows:
12 cars + £40
30 cars + £35
30 cars + £30
Please let me know ASAP and add your name to the list, and once we get 12 I will book it:

Hi Mike,
Heard some none too good stuff about them (probably just SN rumour mill ), and want to stick with WRC Technologies as the spec of their road and overall setup is very professional.
Go on, you know you want to

Just read about the WRC rolling road sounds like the operator is Chris who used to do all the rolling road days at G Force so he should know his stuff and also how to operate a rolling road.
I might be able to make this so put me down as a possible but can someone remind me at the start of April because I'm getting married at the start of March and I'm away on honeymoon for 3 weeks so i'm bound to forget.

Count me in, sounds good.
I'm going to Vegas in April, but I think it's from the 19th, I'll ask me Julie when she gets back from prowling the streets.

They shut down a long time ago im afraid, shame as they had a very good RR.
WRC is just before Silverstone on the A43. Route is A31 - M27 - M3 - M40 - A43 but will put up some directions soon. Should be an hour and a half at a push
