My top 3 moments of 2004
1) Meeting an old school friend - Wilf at the rolling road day at Witham. Haven't seen him for about 20 years!! and he only lives 5 mins from me!!!!
2) JAE @ Billing, the footie match, Tiny and Robroy flaming up till the early hours, and being made to buy a decat downpipe from the TSL stand!!
3) The October Tunnel cruise, what a laugh!!
Roll on 2005, the year of the Essex Scooby Crew

not to mention buying the scoob in Jan, and the most emabarassing moment was driving round a roundabout on a posers cruise a bit too enthusiastically and getting caught by the police waiting to get ONTO the roundabout, massive respect goes to them because I just got a slapped wrist, no more naughty behaviour for me

I think that the best moment of 2004 (and i think i speak for every1 here) is the day TINY decided that the ESC would hit the scene.
hard work doesn't even come close to describe what he has done this year for all of us.
It sums it up when u hear time after time coming out of the mouths of scooby owners from other regions "I'm gonna move to Essex cos this is where its all happening"
I know I have been a boring b'stard last year and not attended much in the way of events but moving into our new house, decorating etc etc had been the main priority for us. Now we're settled and the house feels like ours your gonna see a lot more of us in 2005 so the ol chef's will be donning the famous aprons and feeding the hungry hoards

Not been to as many events as Id like, work always seems to get in the way, however my highlights would have to be the october tunnel run, my first one and a great night to remember.
My first cruise to southend in the summer still brings a smile to my face, as this was my first event I attended. Nothing can prepare you for the sight of 80+ scoobies parked up together in a car park, then the sound of them starting followed by the Nascar style run down there Roll on 2005

Apart from some good nights down the pub, my first proper meet of the year and best for me, was the now infamous 'Tunnel Run'. What an introduction to the ESC - I now can't get enough!

dont get to many of the meets apart from the golf days, but one of the funniest moments goes to Tiny.
On our first golf fay poor tiny got selected to be the partner of someone who used to be able to play golf (me), we played a texas scramble type better ball match.
On one hole we spent about 15 minutes and around 12 shots trying to get the ball out of some heavy (up to your waste) rough and small trees. After 2 or 3 shots each we couldnt hold back the laughter and played through the tears.
will be doing my best to come along to a few meets this year and carry the tourch for the hertfordshire golf contingent (me and chris).
