EASTSUSSEXSCOOBIES meet Sat 21st Aug
Final call for the final meet of August. Don't let this summer month go by without having attended an ESS meet.......you may always look back with regret!!!!
Remember, September's meet will be in Tunbridge Wells!!!!! And October's meet may be at Scaynes Hill!!!!!!!(Now there's a hint). So it may be your last chance for a while to socialise locally.
All your chums will be there with pop and sandwiches, ready for a romp in the woods........SORRY!...WRONG CLUB!
Coopers is the venue from 2pm. Some of the newbies last time requested a drive out, and if we have enough chaperones I'm sure that this can take place.
So who is coming then?
Lancaster?
WallyBazoom?
Goldy?
Markus (from Canada)?
MadDog74?
Chris(P1)?
Andy?
Steve?
Kevin?
Tout le monde?

Looks like October's meet will be another testing day. We are discussing the format of the day. Dave Hollamby is keen to offer suspension, as per the usual arrangements, plus a new idea (NEW NEW NEW!!!!) knocklink fitting, and guage fitting. This means you will need to supply the kit of your choice, and the guys will help you fit it in the workshop (not the suspension, silly). Let's see if anyone is interested in this approach.
If there are other things you want us to try and organise into the day, you need to start telling me NOW.

Keith
It'll be a year (roughly + 1 month) to the day since the 1st Test Handling day last September.
'ESS 1st Year Anniversary Test Handling Day' catchy title huh?
How's about asking Mr Dave if he can get hold of a few different back boxes? I'd love to try a ProDrive BB on my My04

Lowered and stiffer suspension sounds good, Prodrive or Eibachs would be nice .
With free fitting and a geometry setup, this would save me a fortune.

Plan to do the rear ARB and droplinks myself, simple job.
Still undecided about the front ARB/Links and Lift Kit.

Wally B how's that damn noisy exhaust
If my car is back from Gatwick Subaru on Friday (ALK and nice new 17''s and masses of Whiteline) I'll be there.
This is my regular message to see you all there......... lets see if I can actually get there this time.

Zoton - we wait with breath bated - you know you can do it!
Goldy - I asked about the bank loan - it caused much amusement. Nice one!
WallyBazoom - unfortunately springs would tie up a technician for too long, and thus slow proceedings for the day. Sorry!

Not too bothered about the springs. Makes more sense getting the ARB's and droplinks done first.

Keith,
Much as I would love to pop along I can't. Excluding the fact that I'm a tad out of the way, I'm actually going to a wedding with Kendra on the 21st.
