Question Fireworks

Fireworks Displays

Any good organised firework displays to go to this year?

Anybody organising anything???

We went to Beaulieu last year with JEN: and very good it was to.

Oo, Fireworks specialist?!

We'll be doing the usual Beaulieu again, 30th October I'm trying to get someone else to take over as R/O, but I'll be there anyway

Would be good to "do" one of the large theme parks

Question

Tiny01: thanks for giving this your best attention M8.

Something around October - November when the evenings are drawing in would be nice.

Like the idea of something BIG with music etc, jen: did a good job of organising the one last year, got to look at the cars at Beaulieu and then on for the fireworks.

It was themed, can’t quite remember, think it was, music from the movies or something, lots of big bangs and flashes, it went on for about 35 minuets or so.

I think I have become a Pyromaniac...................

Supercue:

Do we know what the parking; security is like around that area.

Living out in the sticks, I have not got a clue.

Would rather pay a bit more and leave my car secure

Please advise?

Anybody been to the London ones before, comments?

Ajax I found that with the amount of CCTV in London I've not had a problem.
Just be sensible and dont' leave anything on show for the Scum to nick. I havn't been to a London display for a few years but the ones I've attended have been very good and even better coz they're free

Thats right normally from the middle of September till bonfire night. The times start off about 9.00 and then drop back to 8.00 because of the light

Supercue: Yep I can see the main attraction of a free firework display,
some of the prices are a bit on the steep side, Alton Towers Adult 1 @ £27.00

I wondered if there was any interest Milton Keynes or Brighton, but it seems the happening place is London / Essex.

Phil stephens: Thanks for the reply, please keep us posted on the display dates times.

Will the Poser’s Cruise still be going, around that time tiny01: ?

I must say I do fancy going to a BIG bang ooooh ahaaaaar this year, perhaps Beaulieu will take some beating.

Ajax the Posers Cruise is the first Saturday of EVERY month.
Believe me when I say we have stood frozen & wet regardless of the weather month in month out.

As for Fireworks, I have six children and the cost for A/Towers is rediculous. I hope we choose something a little more kinder on the pocket

Our beloved Organiser will no doubt have something to say tonight when we meet up
