Southern (Sussex) Show and shine
Mike Rivett and I have been working on a little meet/show idea for a while and have finally come up with a date!!
So get your tents ready for 14/15th Aug
Mike has a small field near Horsham. (It's out in the country so no neighbours to disturb)
We are planning on having a little get together for the Scoobs and Land Rover owners (should please Jen).
During the day we hope to organise a show and shine comp, etc.
For the afternoon/evening we are hoping to have a band for some live entertainment and will provide toilets facilities and a communal BBQ. (read huge oil drum!!) Bring your own food and drink. Pitch your tent and chat 'till the small hours with a few beers (No drinking and driving!)
If camping is not your thing, I can look into B&B's.
There will need to be a small donation towards running costs and prizes.
Anyone with ideas for making the day a bigger success please mail me.

If I can sort the band do we get in for free 
LOL. Mate I totally forgot to ask them but now you have a date I can find out for you. I'll get one of them to give you a bell & you can give all the details (If they're free that weekend).

Tenting or tinted Wagons - don't much matter. Got Rallyday at Castle Combe on the saturday, so best we can do is pop by the field on Sunday and see if anyone is still there!

I posted this 4 moths ago and on the day (when I'm already there!) you ask where it is
If anyone was actually interested I would have posted a map and directions!
Well we had a great turn out 5 scoobs and about 25 Land Rovers with a scattering of classic and vintage cars plus a few vehicles of special interest
Lots of beer was drunk the BBQ was great and all had a good weekend
We even had an ECU fitting/mapping service
Thanks to all that attended.
