Default ANOTHER LONGLEAT !!..Who's Interested ????

Hello Everyone !!

I'm thinking about organising another LONGLEAT ,like i did back in October 2002...remember ?

Have spoken to Longleat today and they are ok about it.

It would be much along the same lines as last time for those that can remember whereby we get discounted vouchers for entrance to the Park etc..with various options for individuals to choose.

Only thing thats changed slightly is if we want designated parking we would have to pay,(somewhere in region of £300+vat)because of the busy periods Easter,Summer, school hols etc.. unless we do it at the same time as last time in October when the Park is quieter we may be ok!(This is so we can all park together)! for a BIG photo shoot again!Gossy...comandeer that Bus again !!! : )

So let me know who's up for this again,Dyney,Jen,Ron,Gossy and anyone else who helped,i'll be asking you again to rally the troops, lets see if we can beat 71 Scoobs !!

Plenty of time i know but just putting out the feelers !!

Regards all

Duracell

Yes this is great, I'm sure some of the Bristol mob will want to come again
I can rally the troops up, I will link this to their hangout

Mental note to myself, don't book a seat on the tour bus this year, it might be running late again from hijackers

October time was fine for us, the weather was good enough and the park was less crowded.

Cheers

Duracell

Very interested, I will post in the Wales forum and rally the troops again for what will certainly be an event to remember. I remember 19 October 2002 like yesterday, my Sti7 was a day old and it was my birthday as well.

Looking forward to it

Mike

Spoken to Longleat again today, looks like its going to have to be one of the weekends in october because of the parking they'll allocate us without having to hopefully pay for!

I will be puttting it in writing to Longleat of our intentions to hold this meet.

Will keep you all updated, when i know the actual date for sure will post a new thread and contact necessary people to rally the troops! Loadsa time i know but if everyone knows well in advance could get a better turnout than 2002 !!?

Phil,Dyney,Tracey,Ron,S.B,Ian, you can help co-ordinate your areas with me as we did last time if that ok?

Thanks to all

Duracell

Just tell me what you need doing, Tiny will Rally the Essex Troops[he is the expert at that] so I am free to assist in anything else you need.

Lets make this BIG

I can get it in Junes True Grip for all those NON PC Scooby Drivers, Japanese Performance Mag may be interested once we have a date I'll talk to them.

Duracell,
Might it be worth mailing the guys at SMACS to see if they want to include this meet in one of their tours??

Just a thought!

Ron.

Happy to be of some help, small though the numbers may be!

Hi Duracell and Springbok,

I will try and be there again in my purple Scooby, hopefully I wont destroy 3rd gear this year on the hill exiting Longleat.

Colin.

ps I might be able to get a small feature in Banzai again if it's a good turn out

I'm sure most the Hants mob will be up for it (well, Colin's already said he is so I'm sure the rest will be! )

I'm more than willing to help sort it out this end, although obviously Scooby-less now, so I'll have to park my muddy Discovery with all the "normal" people
