Question

I'm not sure it's worth posting.....but anyway...I think the cap has been chucked in our direction...

I don't see that the thread was "destroyed" - it was in constant use because people meet almost every week. I know the corners were usually "taken" (or missed! ), but it was mostly us arranging who was going. I don't think it can be compared to that Bracknell thread which was muppetised after the event.

So, I think that thread does have a use and it's place is in here. I mean, we've still got new people coming along, so it's not as if we're putting anyone off.

Thanks
Iain

Angry

The bracknel thread is a monthly item and quickly drops off the bottom of the list so does no real harm.

The lunch time thread is a recuring meet and needs to be put back in southern as it a regular sothern meet

I cannot believe you bowed down to peer pressure!

Oh well, Karen and I are fine, and we must catch up soon. Hope Milly, the new house, the rat, etc... are all fine.

Speak to you soon mate.

I don't know if it was DrEvil because it came back almost straight after Ian and I had posted. It may have been a mod from the hutch cos I RTM'd the thread in muppets

Anyhoo, ta!

V5, Ian and others,

There are several recurring meets that are set-up in this forum, sussex meet, surrey meet, bracknell meet etc...

The lunch time meet is no different to these, and for everybodies ease, why don't you start a thread for each meet, with the date/time clearly stated in the title or first post.

The majority of the thread was for want of a better phrase, muppet content.

Bracknell meet for example, gets treated the same way when it gets out of hand, as Scott and Neil will confirm.

Rgds, Alex
