Hi Everyone
Despite a long abscence i'm arranging a meet for Tuesday 6th May at the Jamaica Inn (just off A30 at Bodmin) 7.00pm onwards.
After some thought i decided this was the easiest to get to & as central as possible distance wise for Cornwall/Devon & any friends from Exeter.
Hopefully it will be a"nice sunny evening"& will bring as many of you as possible flocking to"Big cat land"!!!
I will E;mail all of you i know to also.
Regards Duracell
P.S Post if you hope to be attending.

Bugger!! Bugger!! Bugger!!
I'm on holiday in Scotland - week of golf (of course) and some excellent roads to test the new car on.
Any chance you could make it a different evening, preferably the week after?
Got some piccies of the new stealth fighter, but can't post them as the uploader seems to be playing up.
Anyone know of an alternative way to post them?
Cheers
Simon
PS
Colin - have you got your colour coding done yet?

I second the above BUGGER
I'm away in Scotland at my brothers wedding, not back until the 7th May.
If possible could you make it the week after Col?
See what the majority can do time wise I guess, no probs if not.
Cheers,
Grahame.
PS Nice to see you back Colin posting.

This organising lark, always trying to keep people happy by changing dates around to suit them, stop being so selfish people! Oh by the way, if you could change the date to Tuesday 13th May I could come, I am on nights on the 6th May! ;-)

Organising meets for Cornwall/Devon is becoming a"thankless task"!!!
No probs changing the date, except i won't be there as i'm away !!
I notice other areas(Hants/Dorset/Bristol/Essex etc..),when they post a meet, generally they get a reasonable response & there's none of this changing dates, most seem enthusiastic enuf to turn up.
Whilst i accept everyone has commitments & can't always attend if you keep changing dates etc.. theres no point in being an organiser. Many times i've asked for thoughts/ideas & with exception of usual few we usually get little response.
Perhaps the time is coming to stand down as organiser !!!????

New people seem to be joining in recent months ( myself included ) hopefully new imput and ideas of what to go and where to go will come flooding in, maybe Duracell can get some help organising events, personally if i'm not working I will support the local events.

Hi Colin,
Don't take it personally mate.
Organising events may seem like a thankless task, but I can assure you (and I'm sure I speak for everyone) it is much appreciated. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I wouldn't fancy the role.
So when are you around for a pub meet?
Maybe the best way forward would be to post two or three dates and go for the most popular. You certainly wouldn't be dombarded with all the "Ah I can't make that night as I'm having my chest waxed " responses.
Just an idea
Look forward to seeing you soon.
Simon

Hi Colin
Hang in there boy, I know what it is like to be an organiser we have the same problem within the Tour of Cornwall group, you cannot please everyone! You already have a yes from me, hope it is still on was going to talk to you on the night about JAPS.
I regularly go to this event a great show for all Japanese vehicle enthusiasts held at Thoresby Park nr Ollerton, North Nottinghamshire. This year it is on 28 & 29 June, camping is £5 for the weekend and advance entry tickets are £4 per person.
Will bring details along on Tuesday 6 May!
Cheers
Bob

We do every second monday of every month down here in Hants land, so people know a long way ahead, and then it's there fault if they want to get their chests waxed instead! lol!
...still, think about when it all comes together (Longleat )

Take a chill pill dude! This is about relaxing after all! You know we all love you really, hopefully I will see you soon now we are into the warmer months and the opportunity for evening meets opens up. I wont be able to make it on the 6th as I am on nights, and alas tis a busy time for me as it is the day after the bank holiday and if I left the bakery on autopilot, with bongo the baker in charge, well, I reckon the dough would start pushing the walls of the bakery out by the time I got there ;-)
With a bit of luck the next date you organise I will be able to attend, you know I am usually there to support you, and to show my apprieciation, flowers or chocolates? (you choose, but dont be upset if you only get bread!!!)See you soon, and chin up mate.

S55 and other plymouth scoobs: we can meet at saisnburys if you like then convoy down from there.
I just worked out that it is about an hours drive from marsh mills so we will want to be leaving marsh mills by 6pm. Unfortunately I usually work until 6 so i might be a little late unless I can get off early.
i found a map so no excuses!
