OK. I have just been to the plough and sail today and it seems that their attitude towards us has changed. Not because of the noise i may add!!!
Therefore our meeting place will have to change for May`s meet and keep there. I was thinking of the Dick Turpin. Same time and day. Your thoughts please.

Are you sure it wasn't a certain persons exhaust????
What reason did they give Dal? Did one of our mob win the quiznight or was it a complaint by the attractive young lady (actually she looked rather like "Waynetta") who took a shine to Ray (and was also seen chatting to Tiny!) for not making her an honorary member?

does not have to be at P & S.. if they don't want the class'y'est car park in essex thats up too them. love to know the real reason. under stand if u don't want to post it on the net.

It is the same place but on a different night!!!
We (Sue and i) went in there for a meal and the service we got in there from the manager (Penfold look-a-like) was a shambles. His attitude was to say the least not good. He wasnt a blind bit interested if we attended there or not (Funny, as HE suggested on Thursday that we once again have a "Bolney" meet there in the summer again!) and because of his attitude towards us as a club we can turn out attention and money to another place where they will welcome us with open arms and give us time and venues throughout the summer. Oh, and where the drink is cheaper!!!
I thought the Dick Turpin as it has a larger car-park, they hold other meets there and can provide us with BBQ`s and Music at a drop of a hat if we are interested.
Of course, the DT is not be all and end all, so please, if any of you have any other places in mind please put on this thread ready for the next meet.
