Hi Guys 
..just realised I've written a very long post, so short version here, with the longer one underneath
:
MENCAP CLASSIC TOUR 2003
* Start in Warminster, finish in Yeovil;
* 130 miles of roads chosen by Inter-national Classic Rally Team Members;
* Road notes provided;
* Commemorative Rally Plate included in the price;
* Cream Tea on arrival;
* Hog Roast and live music in the evening;
* Prizes sponsored by Vales Subaru;
* Camping over at Lufton Manor if yer want
and bacon sandwhiches in the morning 
Price? £25 for a standard crew (two people and car) additional passengers £7.50 - all proceeds (and anything else you can raise in sponsorship money) to MENCAP
Leaflets with further info and entry forms from me (jen@hantsscoobies.plus.com) or Rach (SPUD2502@aol.com), just let us know your addresses. I'll be putting the form up on Hantsscoobies later today if you wanted to download and print it yourself ...but still post so we know you're thinking of coming
Oh - and the Porsche Crew are coming along..so we have to get more cars than them

You may have remembered I posted a little post a while back about the MENCAP tour taking place this May 24th starting in Warminster and finishing in Yeovil Somerset using a route designed by some of the foremost Classic Rally Team members travelling through 3 counties on "non-damaging and mettled surface roads" with some excellent views, excellent roads ...and well, lots of excellent things
It's all to raise money so it will cost £25 (per car for 2 people), for that you get cemorative rally plate, road notes, cream tea on arrival at the finish, and a Hog Roast and live music in the evening (I've been reliably assured Rach will sort at veggie option, as she wasn't impressed with her dads suggestion of Baked Bean Sandwhiches) - bargin if I so say so myself! We'd also hope as many cars will annoy family/friends/unwanted aqaintances for as much sponsorship money as possible
Vales of Yeovil have agreed to sponsor the Subaru class, don't know what prizes etc yet but they're bound to be good As well as TOAD Alarms sorting out some form of sponsorship being decided at the moment.
A couple of us will also be camping over down in Yeovil so we can make the most of the opportunity of having a few drinks afterwards! So people are more than welcome to join us, I can get my hands on loads of tents is anyone needs to borrow one ..and of course an artistic photoshoot outside the manor (may need Dyney and Gossy for this one ), the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow scoob owners.
Can we make this the biggest Subaru fundraising event yet?

Quick update:
Entry forms are starting to come in now - keep 'em coming !!
All cheques need to be made payable to 'Mencap Classic' please.
For those of us camping over on the Saturday night we will have fair ground dodgem cars to play with - in addition to the bar, music and hog roast !!
For those of you that have already entered, its sure to be a great weekend - and for those that haven't, get you entry in asap you don't want to miss a great weekend !!
