To be honest I'm not sure!
STANDARD, it's 174bhp and 0-60 is about 7.4 (I Think!)
But was dyno'd at about 195bhp (I Think) and has now been stripped out too!!
It's quick, but i don't think it's THAT quick!

you sure its that much standard, sounds like a hell of a lot for a standard car!

could be interesting if he's stripped it out tho!

i'll be on the lookout for you I'll have a subaru baseball cap on and i'll be there very early!

We're getting there about 0830-0900 I beleive.

And yeh, it's the 6 speed 2.0 16v, same engine and box as the GTi6, but lightweight, and that's BEFORE he stripped it out!

I went in october, got one run and the queue for another run was up by the finish line and all the way through the car park!!!

I'm getting a mate to video my race with my mates CTR, going to video capture it, will try and get the 306 too

There is a convoy of saxos turning up at around 9:30 btw

sounds like it, at least us scoobies get done quick, whoosh, 14 secs or less, and then these saxos come along and take all day cruising up the strip

lets hope they swept up after they crash those two cars head on, in 5th gear the other night cos that was at the pod

If only it could be arranged so you get a number and can go park up and go line up when your number is called! would be a lot more civilised that sitting there in a queue pushing the car 10feet every 30seconds!

yeah, exactly, the guys running it aren't that bothered though, I made a complaint as the last time I ran the machine broke and I had to wait on the start line for 3mins with the engine runnning! Then when I went to get my printout they said it didnt come out and that i'd have to wait until the end of the day when they reset the computers!!! So i left a name and address for them to post it, it never turned up, luckily my mate says I got a 14.64! Will destroy that time Sunday tho

What's a TEK2?? Sorry, I'm not up with all the scooby gadgets yet!
I have a 93 WRX, decat centre pipe, TSL Firestorm BB (Coming today) K&N 57i but that's it!!
It's on 16" Wheels so I think it's quite quick, but as to HOW quick I dunno yet!!
It's being prepped this weekend and sprayed next, hence why I'm not going in that!

tek2 takes a uk turbo from 215hp to a 265+hp (with decat) car with a much better torque curve, much better to drive.

BTW, didnt end up going, think i've got a screwed head gasket!

Best not to take any chances, but if someone could let me know what times the CTR's were running that would be interesting to know, I heard one with NOS went along?

Got there about 13:30...TOO LATE TO RUN!!!!!!! >:-(
Didn't see the times of the CTRs as there were like 250 cars and bikes there.
Some stunning ladies on drag bikes caught my eye!! Lol.
Totally disorganised tho!!
People and vehicles all over the place!!
But a good day really! Topped up my tan nicely!

Its always totally unorganised!

If someone knows a good place to go get a 1/4 mile time then please let use know, Santa Pod is just a total waste of time if you want to run more than once.

Its sold as a unlimited run thing, but they let so many people in and dont organise the runs that it takes 2 hours to queue back up for your second run.

Sounds like I was better off at home with a screwed car than at the pod today
