Dal,

I suppose full payment means i can't let my flexible friend pay on my behalf. If so will you accept a kite.

Darren,

I have booked direct with Tracksense today.

If anyone else wants to book direct they need to phone 01276 473616 and mention The Flat Four Club to get the discount.

As I have only done a couple of open pit days before Tracksense felt that I should go in the Novice section with the possibility of moving up on the day, do you think the novice sessions may be a bit slow?

NO! They wont be slow just a little bit more, how can i say, slower i suppose. As they advised, you can move up on the day and you wont be alone in any of the sections!
Cheers for putting number on thread, so for those wanting, please book asap!
Lets make it a REAL scooby day!

:LOL Its only suicidal if you drive it like a nonce!
Brands is very hard on the tyres and you will be taking Paddock etc and quite a speed due to the width of the track etc. A track day is what YOU make it to be, so a standard Impreza would not look out of place i can assure you!
There are 3 sections anyway, slow, medium and fast and you can progress through the day.
Brands is one of the best circuts to know the limit of your car, weather satandard or modified, so come along!
Details of pay etc is on this thread!

Just posted meeting point on Scoobycitys web site, so id better do the same on this one!
Briefing at Brands will be at 8.15 sharp! We will need to be there for 7.30am. NO BRIEFING-NO TRACK TIME.
I am meeting Scoobycity guys at the Rettendon Turnpike Roundabout at 6.30am (Old A130/Skoda Garage) then onto Brands. For those wanting to meet on the way please put on this thread!

Ed,
One thing you should remember to do is inflate the tyres by about 5psi all round as this will help to preserve the tyres.
Also your car suffers from fuel starvation when cornering hard so fill up before going on track.Other than that drive at YOUR pace and don't try and keep up with everyone else it is not a race.(Sorry if that sounds like stating the obvious).
Brands is a great track with the most awesome dip that you loose your stomach on the first time round.

Enjoy

Grant

And to add to Grants you lose your neck too!
Correct in the tyre pressure side, although it does depend on the profile of the wheel. More on the day. Can i also suggest that those with centre cars on your alloys.......Remove them! I lost all my prodrive ones last time
I dont want this sounding like there will be problems with your cars on the day. Help and advice will of course be there, but at the end of the day, we are all there to have a great day without calamities.
I shall also be bringing up some Optimax and Booster if needed which im sure everone will
Expecailly me ay Dal! (I Must wear slippers!)
A tank will go very quickly and the nearest fuel garage is a Fina which as far as im aware sells NO Super
OK. List so Far
Grant stiuk7
Rob stiuk7
Tiny WRXUK
Me OK. Ill use WR
Mark RB5

Rest to be finilised.
