Cool

Hi everyone

First of all, a BIG thank you to Scott who organised the event - well done! Nice to meet so many nice people and nice to see such a professional outfit - well done Tuning Japanese.

Am particularly pleased with my 261 bhp - not bad for a girls car Shame about the guy (sorry don't know your name) with no oil - hope you get any problems sorted soon. Well done (she grits her teeth) to the Cossie . Note to Tim .... get a wagon, not a volvo

Now, where's that Scoobysport number ..... mods, mods mods

Jo

MY95 WRX ..... 261 bhp!

Dean,

Nice meeting you, shame your car wasn't going well.

I did wonder if it had traction control, because that would go mental if it saw a difference between front and rear, pulling the throttle/fuel etc.

Nice car, and sounded fine to me, but what do I know?

Emerald, as mentioned on the day can be found here and I know that they have been working on a number of 1.8T engines in vw's, audi's and skodas so give them a call if you get nowhere with your current tuner, even if it's just for a second opinion.

Paul

Scott,

yeah - might be my dump value too .. it howles sometimes - but should be getting a new one (warrenty - for 5 more days!) in a couple of days.
Boost gauge & oil press+temp are on order .. Defi group buy. but they havent come in yet & I'm NOT happy!
Ohh - and dont have a pod yet either - but Dyney's sorting that!

gona get the downpipe+centre done soon, so might do it then when the heat sheald will be off& hopefully guages installed etc.

Steve

Scott,

It's switchable on the fly - so will probaly run both for comparison.

Std PPP - expect 250 - 260 BHP
PPP + FCD + Dawes - expect 260 - 270 BHP

This is obviously dependant on the rollers + weather etc. - On optimistic rollers & cold day could get 280 BHP

Cheers,

Chris

[Edited to add]

PS - If anyone with a Pre MY97 would like a copy of my Web site on CD ROM let me know

Scott,

Are these BHP figures at the wheels or flywheel? Also, what's the max that this RR can take? I know of a Swedish guy bringing over a modified LC (est 630 BHP but that could be bullsh!t - still makes my 377bhp look tame) who is quite keen on a RR session. I may be able to get him to go along. Doubtful but maybe.

Flywheel....
If you want to come along I'll probably have to ask Tuning Japanese if they would want to do a 2WD run, as it requires the rollers to be moved about etc...etc....

Probably will be OK but you'll probably run last in the day...

What does everybody think of the 31st August. If all's O.K I'll try to get Tuning Japanese to pencil us in.

Why wouldn't you still have it Robin? Is Mrs EVO putting you under pressure to swap it for something sensible? ;-)
