Is it a R205 or 20th anniversary you own? If so it's not only the brace that makes the difference.
The hatch is a lot more stable than the hawk anyway.
Who mapped both of the cars?
It's a 20th Anniversary and both mapped by Bob Rawle
Looked at these myself a while back but decided against it , but if I did end up wanting them I wouldn't be worried about what everyone else thinks first
Bit board today waiting in for the shopping to be delivered so decided to get this model out and make it up , added a roof vent like mine and flocked the dash and colour match for the body

Prob about the same condition as my full size one at the mo lol but it's going into the body shop in a couple of months for a respray (the full size one that is lol) so doesn't matter to much , and only costing 1k so worth doing
What tyres are you all running?; I am looking at Yoko ad08r`s and Michelin super sports in 245 40 R18 at mo. Also Mich sp cup 2`s, which may be too track orientated. For road use, but intended to mimic the unavailable Potenza RE070`s
Thanks

I'm using Michelin SSP and I love them. They are a great all round tyre. I use them on road and I've done one wet track day in them. Incredible in the wet. Obviously in the dry I'm sure the AD08R will be better or have you considered the Dunlop SP600 it's a semi slick a bit like the RE070.
I think I've mentioned this earlier in this thread but this is from Litchfield imports old website concerning hatch handling (before they moved on to more prestige brands):
We would also recommend switching away from the standard issue 17" Bridgestone tyres and moving 18" Alloys with the superior Michelin Super Sport Tyres, Continental Sport Contact3 or Dunlop SP600

Thanks, much appreciated.
Anyone running AD08r`s ?
Horses for courses! I've not tried them personally, supposedly a good rain tyre but less performance orientated. Sidewalls are a bit soft according to some reviews.
Shop around though before you pull the trigger. Take a look at Oponeo and tyreleader. Falken 452's are dearer than Michelin SSP for 245/40/18 on Camskill!!
Thanks everyone for your help. Lazscobby recommended a garage in bonnybridge. He has had a look and the wheel hub assembly that was replaced just over a year ago needs done again. Booked in for this Friday fingers crossed that sorts the problem.
Hi mate, presume your meaning Hypertech. Apologises I've not be active of late with new born daughter and work however can't recommend Duncan enough for his work.
I have Hatch Sti and he re-built my engine only 3k miles ago after a less than impressive build at other Scottish performance garage and the job has been 1st class.
Had final mapping done 3 weeks ago after installing Grimmspeed 3 port and Andy Forrest was delighted with overall build quality and figures gained - 466/467.
I'll catch up with you dude as only 15 mins away from each other
