Should this chirp once when arming or three times.

Mine is currently chirping three times. How do I rectify/reset function. Car does seem to be arming up properly but have concerns.

As for other post about ai606, I contacted Toad a while back to ask about timer but was told that it would lose Thatcham cat 1 approval if fitted.

3 chirps means you have a door or your boot is open IIRC

Paul.

(i will check the manual and get back to you.)

Yup !

Doors - apparently. Perhaps one of your door contacts is faulty?

I'll tell you what it is straight away. When my Ai606 was fitted last year it too chirped on closing the car(I asked the installer to silence the chirping full stop!!) and when I returned my MY01 to them a different guy to who had fitted the system spotted the problem straight away - The delay on the interior light was causing the problem so they did what they had to and now it works fine.To test if this is the same problem on your car, close the door (Don't arm the system!) and let the interior light go off. When it does, arm the alarm and see if it still makes the chirping noise.Be interested to hear your results?

Good luck!

Nick

P.S: This is assumin I understood your problem in the first place
