Default Removing the alarm keypad ona classic

I want to swap the lower half of my dash, the only thing stopping me at the moment is the alarm keypad in the glovebox.
On the back of the gloverbox, you can see the two screws biting into it, but no obvious way from the front of the key pad to see how its fitted.
I don't really want to have to cut and join the keypad loom, as that also won't help me remove it.

So, 2 questions.:

How do I remove the keypad from the glovebox?

Is it plug and play at the alarm end?

Thanks

I went with my second choice and unplugged the keypad from the alarm end. The glovebox I'm swapping has the keypad in it anyway, so I'll just use that one.

shame as no one seems to know how to remove it from the glovebox. didn't want to butcher it thats all.

I do eventually want to take that other keypad out though.
It looks as though the outer shell of the keypad was screwed into the glovebox, then the innards placed inside, and perhaps the keypad part is a sticker overlay, covering the screws. That sound right?
