A few years ago someone posted a thread on how to make the sigma cat 1 alarm fitted to Imprezas beep when armed or disarmed.
It was just a case of using the keypad with the correct control code. I did this on my MY00 but never wrote down the code. Now I've part ex'd it for an STiUK and I can't remember how to do it again.
Anybody know how its done as its very handy to know the car is definately armed.
Cheers, Ian.

Try this way(from sigma manual)---make sure the alarm is off, turn on ign and quick press on remote button, then press 7 on keypad give a good press once, immediately turn off ignition. DONE
to disable bleeps same way but press 6

for the soft loud beep option try the * rather than the # this worked on my aftermarket sigma M30 fitted to a MY93 WRX
also if anybody wants I have a copy of all the options that can be accessed on the key pad that I can mail to people just drop me a mail and I'll reply. This was sent to me by matt bowey from this board and I promised that I would pass it on to others for a while to save him the hassel as he seamed to have quite a few requests
so drop me a mail if you want it

Ta mate. I think the first page is definitely public, but the rest is probably best off being unknown. No real risk from the information falling into the wrong hands at all, but people could bugger up their alarms royally if they mess with some of the full programming modes
