how old is the alarm, the batteries are just rechargeable and like the ones you use in remotes and toys, they only hold the charge so many times, so it may be that these need replacing, trackers do this a lot.

Yes car battery mate. Car is 02 sti. Use it everyday. I just wondered if it was a problem as the alarm has so many features running.
Was fitted by previous owner.

I'll get a drain test done.

Cheers.

Okay it is used every day but what mileage are you doing? As you need to be doing about 20 miles to re-charge the battery. If I don't take my bug for a drive every 10 days(ish) I need to charge the battery. Usually try to give it a 50 mile run each weekend work allowing.

About 3 miles a day mate. I do always try to have a run at the weekend. It's going in to Subaru within the next week or two so I'll get them to check it. Tracker will be unplugged and I now make sure I have side lights on at all times. Every little helps I guess

Cheers chaps
