Default Tracker help?

Hi all. I have been thinking about getting a tracker fitted to my Subaru. I don't really have any idea on which tracker to go for. I just wondered if anyone on here could give me some advice on a good tracking system i.e tracking makes, cost etc. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Lee.

All the new ones come with metasat I find it great

Texts me when batt is flat, etc, I even SMS it myself when I'm holiday and it tells me how hot it is outside the car, when the temps low I gloat knowing its pissing down at home lol

You can find where it is by a status and shut the engine down when the pikeys nick it,

all insurance approved "tracking"units have a subscription of around £140 a year with discounts for more than years payed for.in my mind the best system is a tracker unit either the retrive or horizon are good but the locate is the best of the bunch.main reason is every other tracking brand works of gps/gsm which can be blocked by using a blocker, easyily avalible for not much money!tracking system is now usless.
tracker works off gps/gsm and vhf and if it is blocked by a blocker they will contact you and tell you your car has a blocker in it or near by,but it still can be found by the police.

I wouldn`t bother. Most insurances INCREASE your premium if you have one fitted, that`s why I never activated mine!
