Default sigma m30

hi i have a sigma m30 on a uk Subaru and the siren don't sound at all.I brought a new siren thinking the back up battery was gone.Even with the new siren fitted it still don't sound.I have put a direct feed to the old one and then it works. Is there a possibility the sounder could be disabled. The car lock and unlocks with the fob and the indicators all flash.Even if i set the alarm off the sounder still don't sound just the indicators flash.

Siren will not be affected in Alarm mode just arm and disarm beeps will be silent
You should not be able to sound an M30 siren from battery it is a Dogital signal from the control module that tells it to sound
