Default Toad Ai606

Anyone know if I can get hold of the thing that locks and unlocks the doors as mine have given up the ghost. Also, can these be fitted easily as I am in Germany and can't find a dealer out here.

I dunno - I press the button, the alarm arms but doesn't lock the doors. Judging by my response, you may guess that I am crap with electrics

Either a blown fuse or the door motor. Any car alarm plaqce should be able to have a look and sort it, they don't have to be a toad installer

If you don't hear any noises, like the locking is trying to move, when you press the lock or unlock buttons then it will be the drivers door solenoid which was installed to allow the alarm to activate the locking. If this is the case then you can pick up a replacement from maplins for about 8 quid.

If there is a noise when pressing the arm or disarm buttons then it is probably an adjustment that is needed.

Hope that helps..

Where would the fuse be? Ive checked all the fuses in the fuse holder under the bonnet and all are fine. Is there another fuse I dont know about? Apart from the beep, there is absolutely no noise from the locking mechanism when I press the 'arm' button on both fobs. Im tempted to chance buying a new locking solenoid

OK, I managed to find it behind the glove box however, no fuses at all in the area.
I've tested the connection to the central locking motor thing with a multimeter and there is a brief 12v flash when I press the arm/disarm buttons. i took it out and connected it to a 12v battery and nothing happens so im guessing it is shot?

these 2 wires were loose....

that ok?
