I would advise that you take it to a professional installer to have it installed. If your not 100% sure of what your doing you could cause some serious and expensive damage to your car..

Is it worth the risk?

the car is a run around and not willing to pay someone to do something i can do and have done before.

its just the way that its worded thats confusing me.

1- goes to door light switch?
2- boot light switch (if fitted with one)
3- unknown
4- unknown
5- chassis ground
6- chassis ground
7- ignition wire (but which? switched or perm live)
8- 12v supply
9- central locking module??? (lock or unlock???)
10- central locking module??? (lock ore unlock???)
11- fuel pump
12- fuel pump
13- starter motor
14- starter motor
15- 12v supply????
16- left indicator power wire???
17- right indicator power wire???
18- unknown???
19- central locking module??? (lock or unlock???)
20- central locking module??? (lock or unlock???)

that is what i think these wires are for but due to the lack of description on the list i recieved i'm not 100% sure tho.

i am about to add a central locking motor kit to my car aswell so i can have remote central locking.

3 is for a Rad fan if it runs after the ignition is off
7 is when the ignition is on, so it thinks the engine is running,
18 will need to be grounded, Its to pass thru spot lights etc i believe,

Going by the descriptions in post 1 none of those are correct.

3 is a channel output wire as is 18. 7 will be an ignition "live when cranking" wire.

What make/model of alarm is it your trying to fit?

you will need to work out how the locking works on the alarm. If you use a multimeter it should help you sort it out.
