Default UK 2000 Classic Alarm Fob

Hi,

Got a 2000/X UK Classi with the blue Subaru emblem alarm fob. I need to get another fob as this one is intermittent and pulls a strop on every now and again.

I'm not sure if its an M30

Which model do I need and wheres the best place to get one from. After reading some of Sigma Sams post ( ) I'm sure I can programme it myself

Thanks

i have a couple of sigma remotes which are the same as the subaru one but without the subaru badge. If you must have a subaru one then your going to have to go to subaru for one.

over to Subaru im afraid.

I had similar issues with mine and ive got the same alarm as you. I ended up going to subaru in bristol to buy two new key fobs and then their time to pair it to my alarm.

Was not cheap though...lol

I was under the impression that you could buy a sigma fob and programme it yourself?

Yes you can.
Its about 30-35 quid from Subaru, and if you know about Sigma Sam, you know how to program

It is litterally just a couple of numbers into the keypad and push the fobs. Bob's your uncle.

Thanks guys, all done now. Fob was £30 something from Subaru and with SS instructions both fobs are programmed

Subaru wanted £95 or whatever it was to do it and I can't I believe that second hand fobs are selling on Ebay for more that what new ones cost
