Default Standard Security

Hello Folks

Just joined this website lots of good info on it and been reading a few posts to try to get some answers!

Just in the process of buying a 56 plate Sube and was wondering what the standard alarm is? The dealer told me it was Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser but need further info.

I read that more security is needed so what else would you recommend? Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers and keep up the tip top work!

The alarm is more than likely going to be a Sigma. Simple to work and pretty basic

It does what it needs to do to keep the insurance companies happy

It'll also come with a tracker as standard if it's a UK model.

Like already said,if anything is to be added then Blackjax is probably the way to go,thieves will get around any alarm system if they really want your car,so it's not worth upgrading it IMHO.

I'll ask the question about the tracker device, thanks again.

u can have blackjax independant of the cat 1 alarm so not a prob with insurance
standard sigma will prob hold a good thief off for up to 5/6 mins max but add blackjax and he has to find and attack that to so looking at another 10mins to try if he can to bypass that chuck on a disclock and his only option then is using a lifter u get my idea now
