its the most basic of systems. If your car is stolen you have to notify tracker that the car has been taken. Then its a case of crossing your fingers and hoping that a/ its working and b/ the police can be bothered looking for your car

And C they dont have a GPS blocker, thats half the problem now, the blockers are so easy to get and cheap whats the use of a tracker when it can be blocked so easy, also do you really want the car back after its been raped up and down the roads?
Stop them from taking it as much as possible(I know if they really want it they will just lift it away) steering locks etc are a very good deterrent.
Just my 2pence.

With the snap off kit does that have some kind of effect on the insurance because theres no air bag??

In regards to Tracker, you mite wana look at Horizon Spec. If it moves up/down/left/right a certain distance you get a phone call from them. Best deterrent as stated above, is to do as much as you can to stop `em.

GPS/GSM/GPRS blockers dont work on a tracker retrieve as it doesnt use any of that technology.

Well its got the option of Sat nav subscription built in & it warns of fixed speed cameras which is a bonus!

But I still prefer other devices such as anti-hijack / maybe dislock & garaging car overnight

if you have ever had the misfortune of using the sat nav you will know that its not worth the money. better off buying a tom tom or garmin.

the speed camera finder is just as bad..

can you get snap off air bag steering wheels ? i shouldnt think so, but do you sacrifice the air bag for car security.
