have used them previously... To be honest wouldnt use them again after using maximum impact... Elsec are vsib Aproved and workmanship is good, but they smashed a window on my car and tried to make me pay for it. They then left broken glass in the bottom of the door.. never had any problems with it though...
Would seriously consider using maximum impact... just off the inner ring road... Where about are you??
Edited to add maximum impact are clifford dealer and vsib aproved and every alarm I have seen fitted by them has been different.

There is one well known car audio dealer in Leeds that I would not let my car within a 5 mile radius of. It isn't Elsec, and it certainly isn't Maximum Impact.
The people I am talking about (again, not ELSEC!) have mistreated more than one person on this board. Drop me a mail if you want to check, but their name is 3 words and those three words are in the first sentence of this post!

Well I work not too far away from the last company you are mentioning, and I certainly would not go there, especially after some of the horror stories I've heard.

As Chiark says, this outfit's reputation precedes them, but one of these days they'll "offend" the wrong customer and the necessary authorities will be all over them like a rash. What goes around will eventually come around. I seem to have a steady stream of dissatisfied punters of theirs asking for help in patching up installations. Usually the same people I had quoted previously, but then this other outfit cut the price to get the sale, and then the punter has to pay the extra just to get it something like in working order. Just goes to show that cheaper prices are not always good value. Go somewhere where others have received good service and are happy to recommend, even if it does cost a couple of pounds more.
