Question

Noticed sometimes when I disarm my M30 on MY00 the alarm gives a cherp...is this an indication that the battery is going in the keyfob? Seem to remember my old Clifford had that function..

Cheers

Err, sorry you lost me there..

Are you saying the chirp is because the key fob battery is running out then?

No - the chirps just indicate you have armed or disarmed the alarm. What AJF is saying is that you can switch off the chirps.

The fob battery life isn't indicated anywhere.

You can set your dashboard alarm LED to indicate the state of the vehicles battery.

Ok, but what I'm saying is...my car has never chirped when armed/disarmed before, every now and again it makes a chirp when i press the button on the remote.
Nothing to do with my car's battery, I wondered if the Sigma had a "early warning" system to detect the battery in the key fob was on its way out.

I'm back at work today, so I'll check the voltage with a dvm.

Cheers

John
