Wouldn't recommend a cobra if it was the last system on the planet. Infact most italian built alarms are junk IMHO. I have had the "pleasure" of fitting meta, scorpion and cobra over the years and they have been nothing but trouble.

1/ Clifford
1/ Viper
2/ Avital
3/ Toad

These are my recommended systems.

agree. Cobra, meta, scorpoian, laserline all just standard alarms. You can't really do much with them. With the others you can do a lot more. £299 is quite a lot 2 pay for a standard cat 1.

The concept 650 is a Thatcham approved system that is recognised by all the UK's insurance companies. The Concept 450 is not so for the extra £50 i would go for the 650.

the c650 will also come with Blackjax (anti-hijack) and will come with either the ultra sonics, prox, or tilt & motion sensor. The Proximity (warnaway) is the most popular option.
